I can’t believe this school year is over! When I think back on my junior year of college it is crazy to think about how many things I learned. First of all, this year my little brother joined me for his freshman year of college and as shocking as this may seem, I think I may have seen him less then when he was still in high school and only I was in college. Anyway, this year presented lots of challenges and of course lots of excitement as well so lets jump right in!
First of all, we started off the year with an amazing football season and I realized that WSU has some of the best school spirit out there and the Minshew mustache will always hold a place in the hearts of everyone at WSU! Second, Erika and I both turned 21 only a month apart! We spent the weekend at the W Hotel in Bellevue with our families and bar hopped around which was amazing! We learned that being 21 FUN can get pretty expensive but that is why God invented Happy Hour! Then, I spent thanksgiving in Bend with my family, and then finished first semester off strong! And then it was second semester… Second semester absolutely flew by! It felt like we came home from winter break and all of a sudden in a blink of an eye it was spring break, Erika and I spent a weekend in Walla Walla wine tasting with her family, we had our spring football game and Easter and now the year is over! It is funny how fast second semester always seems to fly by every year.
As I end my Junior year of college it is becoming all to real that I only have one more semester left in my beautiful college town. Luckily my last semester will be filled with football games, cooking classes, and so much more! One of my best friends is moving back to Pullman and living with us which will make for an even more fun filled semester! It is crazy how incredibly short your time at school really is. When you’re in the middle of it, it feels almost never ending between exams, papers and presentations. But in the grand scheme of things four years isn’t long at all and in my case its only three and a half years which doesn’t seem real. I can’t wait to make next semester the best one yet and I am beyond excited to take you all on the ride with me!
I am beyond exited to be spending this summer relaxing and finishing up a few classes, work on my blog and maybe drawing up some plans for what I want to do once I graduate. I am lucky enough to be spending the entire summer in my most favorite place of all, Bend, Oregon. I grew up in Bend so getting to spend my last summer surrounded by what I love will be an amazing treat. I can’t wait to share all the fun things I have in store for the summer with you all!
